The 2008/2009 Season is Starting Up!
Boys Tryouts start
September 3rd
When/Where:
Wednesday September 3rd, Vistamar High School
Times: 5:45: 5th
– 6th Grade teams & 7th – 8th Grade teams (Ages 10 –
14)
7:30: 9th,
10th, 11th & 12 Grade teams (Ages 15 – 18)
Cost: $25, tryout

Makeup Tryouts:
Sunday Sept 7th @ 5:30 for all age level boys at Rolling Hills Prep

Saturday AM Beach
Tournaments Start September 6th
What: Beach
Tournaments for everyone at Beach Cities Volleyball. Just come & you will
be placed on a team
When/Where:
Saturdays from 9 to 11 AM at the beach courts just north of the Manhattan Beach
Pier.

Note: There will be no
beach tournament on September 20th, in deference to the Manhattan
Beach AVP Open, played at the same location
Ages: Boys
& Girls 9 - 18
Cost: -0- for
players who played at Beach Cities Volleyball in the 2008 season.

For players who did not play
at Beach Cities Volleyball, the cost is $20 for the first tournament, then
future tournaments through September & October are free.

From November forward,
beach tournaments will be held Saturdays 9 – 11 for Beach Cities Volleyball
players for -0- on Saturdays through June 12th, 2009

First tryout: Thursday, October 2nd @ 5:30 @ Vistamar High School
Make-up Tryouts:
Sunday, October 5th at Rolling Hills Prep at 5:30

Corporation, in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service and Franchise
Tax Board.
Donations are deductible to the fullest extent allowed
by tax law.
Beach Cities Volleyball’s Mission Statement is to
provide “life skills and volleyball skills to young people from 8 to 18”
Financial assistance is available to families with
documented financial need
