Summer 2008 Indoor Camps & Clinics

 

Summer Indoor Volleyball Camps

·       Great Student to Coach Ratio: Usually six to one or better

·       Campers placed in groups of similar age & experience

·       Priorities: Have Fun, Build Volleyball Skills, Have fun!

·       Coaches: Strong role models and strong volleyball coaches

·       Ten week-long Beginning Camps (7-11) for those starting up

·       Ten Intermediate Camps (11-16) for those with some experience

 

Summer Indoor Volleyball Clinics

·       Five week-long Advanced Clinics for serious High School & Club Players

·       Six week-long Intermediate Clinics for players wanting to improve upon their Club & School volleyball experience

 

Coaches Will Include:

·        Tony Mayrie Head Coach Serra High School Varsity Boys and Girls. Former Head Coach St. Anastasia three years, two of which St. As won the Southern Section Championship. Has coached Club teams to top 20 finishes at Nationals in each of the last five seasons

·        Brenda Gonzalez 4 Year Varsity Letter, St Monicas High School, 3 yrs All-League. 4 Year Varsity Letter, Hampton University, 3 years Hampton Varsity MVP.  Head Coach Vistamar High School Varsity Girls. 4 years Club coaching experience, her teams have top 10 finished is each of the last three years Nationals in Reno

·        Maegan Carberry UCLA Defensive Specialist, four years Club Coaching experience

·        Kevin Williams All American, Cal State Long Beach University. 10 seasons Club coaching experience. Varsity coach of both the Boys and Girls Varsity team at Community Harvest

·        Colin Douglass Bishop Montgomery, UC Berkeley, Double A rated. 17 years coaching experience at Bishop Montgomery, American Martyrs, West Torrance & WNS, plus 8 years of Club coaching

·        Pinter Aguirre Head Coach Palos Verdes High School Varsity Girls. 7 years Club coaching experience, his teams have reached the championship division each of the last three years at the Nationals in Reno

·        Shannon Sneed ASU Outside hitter, AVP veteran, five years Club coaching experience

·        Chris Walmer Mira Costa, Ocean League Player of Year, Captain @ CSULB, European Indoor Pro, AVP

·        Kristy Hartley AVP, Middle at Florida South Coast University. Experience coaching at Club, Jr. High and High School levels.

·        Ken Vick Sports Performance Director at Velocity Sports Performance
