Since it's inception in 2000, BCVC has been teaching young adults in Southern California how to improve their life skills through the sport of volleyball. By focusing on teaching volleyball skills, character development and having fun, BCVC has been able to teach children how to be successful in today’s ever-changing world, as well as create championship-level teams.

At BCVC, winning is important but is not the only priority; its major priority is having fun and teaching success through volleyball. Through these teachings, BCVC has naturally developed one of the top competitive programs in the South Bay. Over 180 Beach Cities Volleyball players from the 2009 season competed for their school teams throughout the South Bay, and players who formerly played for Beach Cities Volleyball are playing on their college teams across the nation. Teams from Beach Cities regularly find themselves in the Finals & final four of season-ending national tournaments each year. BCVC is a non-profit organization. Currently in 22 communities in the South Bay, we are one of the largest and most diverse clubs in the South Bay. This diversity is beneficial as teams consist of kids from the beach areas to the inner city as we strive to be an organization that helps eliminate harmful social barriers.
