- Founder, Beach Cities Volleyball
- Coached 12 Smack for 21 years; his 12 Smack teams have placed in the SCVA Gold Division 16 of last 18 years
- In 2021 the 12 Smack won 2nd Place in the entire SCVA, and 3rd Place in the Volleyball Festival Nationals
- Over 50 players from the 12 Smack have gone on to successful college careers across the nation
- Players for the last six years are still in high school and playing for their high school teams across the South Bay
- 12 Smack teams have won the Volleyball Festival Nationals, Far West (Reno) Jr Olympic Qualifiers, Northeast (Philadelphia) Jr Olympic Qualifiers, won the Silver medal of the United States Volleyball Jr Nationals in Minneapolis and took 11th in the Championship Division of the USA Jr Nationals in New Orleans
- Coached 13 years at WNS of the Pacific Basin Divisions. His teams reached the championship finals in 11 of those 13 years, won the championship six times
- Beach Cities Volleyball has been honored with/won “Best of the Westside”, Best of Rancho Palos Verdes and Chip has won “KNX Hero of the week” and Volleyball Festival’s “Annual Service to Youth Sports” awards.
