Invitation to Beach Cities Volleyball College Program Night

Beach Cities Volleyball Boys High School Team Players: Sunday January 11, 2026

3:45 to 6 PM at LA Galaxy

Beach Cities Volleyball has a strong history of assisting its players in finding the best colleges that meet their interests and helping the families ability to pay for this education. It would be wonderful for every Beach Cities Volleyball alum to receive a full volleyball scholarship. We have a very strong program that shows players how to market themselves to coaches across the nation. It is also very important to us is that every Beach Cities Volleyball alum have the opportunity to go to college, as many players aren’t looking to college to continue their volleyball career. The academics, activities and introductions to internships (and job offers after college) in their field of interests are all very important in seeking the best college experience.

So how does this work?

 Beach Cities College Coordinator is Eduarda Sousa, who will lead this program

 Beach Cities Volleyball has developed insight into nearly every college & university in the nation, so the player can develop an understanding of the academic entrance requirements, the strength of the major field of studies, etc.

This will help players receive insight on how to research & decide which colleges are appropriate for her

 For 9th & 10th Grade students: Players & parent mentoring discussions are held once/month.

Players & families will also be educated on the benefits of the various athletic Divisions, like D-1, D-2, D-3, NAIA, etc.

 For 11th & 12th Grade BCVC Players: These discussions will be held twice/month

 College Funding Solutions will be presented and offered at a significant discount so that the families will receive funding offers, grants, etc to significantly reduce the cost of college.

 One-on-one family meetings will be available for follow up on the path to college, including time management counsel.

Timely, enthusiastic follow up to the colleges is essential, guidance will be provided at these meetings for the players and families.

 Every player will have available performance videos of their play, and players will receive training on elements of the best videos.

These videos can be edited to a short video displaying the player’s abilities & skills to coaches they wish to contact, and used as templates for future videos to expose the players on college templates.

As well as being used in the college search, the videos can serve as memories to be watched in future years.

 College Showcases are held all over Southern California & the country. Assistance will be given re: which would be the best for the players themselves.
